When using the local logon the machines run like a sports car, but login with the domain profile and they are like a model T. I have resorted to creating a local logon profile for the user to use when they are off site. We also use WSUS to push out updates and I have tried setting mobile users machines to use MS Updated web servers for their updates via GPO, but that doesn't appear to make any difference. We do map 4 drives via GPO and they are set to be persistent. These are all new machines running fresh installs of Win 10 and up to date with patches. They take 20-30 seconds to open an office file saved on the desktop, logon takes 30-90 seconds, and the general responsiveness of the machine is borderline unusable. We have several windows 10 machines here that are almost unusable when they are not connected to our domain network. My google fu is failing me on this one and I am hoping my fellow spiceheads can help me out.
